Ramble Topic One and Only: 9-11, America Mourns of the Lost of Lives
::shiffles:: My religion teacher made my class watch something that was on the history channel about 9-11.... It was so sad! ::sniffles again:: Anywayz....I sorta kinda wrote a poem...Yes another one of my iffy not so well written poems...
9-11, The Day Lives On
A year has left
Since the towers fell
It took only a day
To be etched eternally in our minds
The planes took off
For a final time
Taking their passengers
For one last ride
The towers stood
Tall and proud
Never expecting
The peril to arrive
Then that fatal moment came
When the plane flow on
Making that day
A memory to come
The towers burned
As the world stood still
Unbelieving the sight
In front of their very eyes
A second plane came
No control they had
Over the events to come
As their lives came to an end
Soon the towers burned
Creating an awful sight
That forever will be
In our unbelieving minds
The metal slowly melted
The stone gradually crumbled
Bringing down with them
The two towers came
We will always remember
Of the lives that were lost
In that single fleeting moment
When the day the two towers fell
May we never forget....
