Band Tour 2004: The Trip From Hades
(or somewhere close to that)
~*~*~
Tuesday -
woke up early, got to school early, didn't leave early...called Ashley to tell her g-bye...got a call from Mr K which scared me from Ashley's cell phone.
Airplane ride was boring. Hung out a lot with Meaghan, Alicia, Sarah, and Cate at the airport. Sarah ate all my cheezums!! AAAGH!
All well, I guess I didn't need those. Hmm...Sarah got the window seat most of the time on the plane.
Got to LA. Was smoggy...VERY smoggy. Rode a Bussy to our first host church. Played a concert...floundered and DIED on my Sax solo during Loch Lomond. Oops? Did well on Phamtom though.
Went to the host home, used the net, showered, talked to Sarah, slept, got up.
Wendesday -
Got free Lemons (home grown!) and yummy fruit for breakfast.
Went back to the church. Guys had to sleep in the gym at that church. HA! I got a host home!
Got on the Bus went to the college (did a clinic) then went to the next church.
We played for THREE lenton services. Ick.
During the 2nd and 3rd one we had dinner.
Funny thing happened during dinner.
Mr G was taking pictures of everyone and eventually he ended up in front of me with his back to me. I poked him in the side. He looked around and shrugged. I poked him again. Same thing happened only he looked at me and I smiled innocently. I almost poked him again but he turned around and went ‘Hey! What are you doing!?’
And then Meaghan went, ‘MO! You’re touching his butt?!’
And yeah…then we all died laughing. Funness!
Services went well. During the first service there was a HOT Jesus.
Anywho, went to host home.
Stayed with a single mom named Joni and her kids Kyle (8) and Kaci (4). That was interesting.
Took a shower, watched tv, used their cpu, went to bed.
Thursday –
Got up, ate, drove back to the church. We got to watch Sherk in the car! Weee! It was also very pretty at her house. It was on the mountain side so yeah…it was prettyful! I loved it! And the church was in the valley where all the fog was so we drove into the fog from the house. It was cool.
We also went to Disneyland this day.
We got to the park and I bought my mom this 85 dollar, solid gold charm for her bday. She likes it too! Also got a spoon and t-shirt.
Let’s see at 10:30 we went back stage to warm up to play. We played for 30 minutes at Disneyland and I did so WELL! It was awesome. We also got free t-shirts for playing.
Then I hung with Stuart and Sarah the rest of the day. Wee.
We went on the rollar coaster, the splash ride, Haunted Mansion, and something else…hmm. All well. It was fun.
Sarah and Stuart made friends with a hot Mexican guy named Gaberial. He got a kick out of Stuart’s name.
Then Russ called Sarah and the happy mood DIED.
Went to the college to sleep.
It SUCKED majorly. Sarah and me shared a couch in front of the TV (bad choice) and at like 12:30 these annoyingly preppy girls were laughing and pounding on the couch as they watched a movie.
I got really mad and yelled at them. Did they stop? No.
Witches.
Friday –
I got up (wow huh?). Went to breakfast with Alicia. Went back to the Bus and went Whale watching!
I saw three whales, a HUGE pod of doliphins, and FUZZY sea lions!
Then went shopping with Sarah.
Yup…and then went to In-N-Out. GOOOOOOOOOOOOD food. I liked.
Went back to the college.
Watched some of Heather’s tape…which went on the night before.
After Sarah left to talk to Russ (asshole, hiss), Meggy wasn’t feeling well so I suggested we go walking. Well, we got our shoes on and all and we were almost out of the dorm when asked where we were going…I said walking and she asked where she could me if she needed me and I replied well, I don’t know. Around. I was being snappish too so yeah…it was not happy.
Then Meaghan and I left and walked around. We talked about her family and Nate mostly. I also complained a wee bit to her about Russ. Not much.
And yeah, then we came back, I homesteaded with her, Alicia, and Cate. I asked Sarah to come over with us but she didn’t…all well. I wanted to spend time with Meggy.
And yeah…didn’t sleep well on the floor without my blanket (gave it to sarah). I only had my little blanket Nate made me. ^_^ Naters!
And the witches from LAST night would NOT shut up again! BLAH! Death, I say, death to the witches!
Then I fell asleep….and had to get up at 3:30-ish.
Ick.
Saturday -
Airport, home.
MOMMY!
That’s about all that happened.
The end of the trip from Hades (or somewhere like that).
And for the record…I hate guys. Utterly despise them and now I know what Aly went through…God, do I know…::sigh::
